The VDES Alliance Board has approved WG3-D-26-001, the Test Report for VDES/MMS Integration, which is now published and available to members.
The report documents the integration of Maritime Messaging Service (MMS) and VDES equipment, including end-to-end testing of a real S-124 Navigational Warning service. It covers delivery across multiple bearers, from terrestrial VDES to standard mobile connectivity, and sets out the test scenarios and results in a form other members can reuse for their own integration work.
The document originates from a test specification contributed by AInautics through the VOOST project. Working Group 3 generalised that specification into a document that serves the wider VDES community, rather than any single implementation. The Alliance thanks AIVeNautics and the VOOST project for making this possible.
The report is available in both PDF and Word format on the Alliance’s documents page.
